Year 1 highlights

Throughout the year, we have been learning lots of new vocabulary and exploring the meanings of different words. In our recent book for English, Stella and the Seagull, we read that the highlight of Stellas day was when the seagull came to visit. We discussed what the word highlight means and learnt that it is a special or favourite part of something. This inspired us to reflect on our own highlights of Year 1. We shared memorable moments, exciting learning experiences, and the achievements we are most proud of from throughout the year.
