School Lunches & Snacks
Good food provision in schools leads not only to healthier children but to improved attainment. We hope our plan of improvements will help to create a generation of children who enjoy food that makes them healthier, more successful and, most importantly, happier.
Fruit & Milk
Children in Nursery and Reception have a free piece of fruit and carton of milk every day.
Children in Key Stage 1 have a free piece of fruit each day and can also have a carton of milk at a cost of £9.00 per term, payable at the start of the term.
Children in Key Stage 2 have the opportunity to purchase a piece of fruit at break time from the school kitchen. They can also have a carton of milk at a cost of £9.00 per term, payable at the start of the term.
If you wish your Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 child to have milk, you must contact the school office.
Money for lunches should be paid at the start of the week, either to the class teacher or put into the drop box outside the school office.
School Meals are £1.65 per day (£8.25 for a full week) – Prices have increased by 5p per day from 1 January 2017
Money for milk should be paid at the start of each term (£9 per Term)
Please make sure that all money is sent in an envelope and clearly labelled with your child’s name and class.
