We have been serving our local community since 1965 in the heart of Allerton and due to expanding into a 2 form entry establishment we now have a fully equipped and professionally staffed Nursery & Reception unit to give your child the best start to their school life.
If you would like to apply for a place in our Nursery, for 3 to 4 years of age, please enquire at the school office for more details.
Situated right at the heart of our community in West Bradford and provide our children and families with the very best opportunities and experiences we can.
We pride ourselves on our inclusive approach and the belief we have in each and every child. Since joining our school in January 2013, our Headteacher – Mrs Rouse has been on a rapid journey to secure a GOOD judgement in our next full inspection.
‘I will ensure that our children receive the best education we can give and that their time with us is happy, safe, secure and successful’
At Ley Top Primary School & Nursery, we offer a curriculum and learning environment that promotes interest, excitement, motivation, achievement and success. Our classrooms are bright, cheerful and welcoming and we work very closely with our families and community to ensure that our children achieve their goals of good attendance, punctuality, behaviour and a positive learning outcome.
We are very proud of our school grounds and have 4 playgrounds of which we are now looking to develop one as a multi use games areas complete with a cycle track and soft play surface. Being situated on a hill, part of our land is outside our school fence and our new project is to develop this for our community to use and for sports to include a football and rugby pitch, an adventure trail and park benches to enjoy the scenery and relax looking over Allerton and its surrounding areas.
We are always happy to welcome visitors, especially new families, so please contact Mrs Gelder or Mrs Horner, our school receptionists if you would like to visit us and see what we can offer you and your child.
Our Pastoral team is led by Mrs Kelly and plays a key role in ensuring equality and the development of family and community links.
